Is the Square Terminal suitable for markets?

Looking at what option is better for our small business. Is the Square Terminal suitable for markets? Can it be connected to a Samsung Tablet with 4G? Previously we used a Live EFTPOS Terminal however was not feasible as we only trade mainly 6 months of the year and had to pay monthly rental fees. Thanks

Thanks for reaching out.

You could definitely use Terminal at a market, as long as you have decent mobile internet on the tablet you can hotspot it to Terminal for internet access.

You could also use Square Reader and the Point of Sale app on the android tablet (or a phone) provided it's compatible. The main practical difference to using Terminal over Square Reader in this scenario is that Terminal can print a paper receipt, with the app/reader being limited to email or SMS receipts.
