My card wasn't to expire until 2025. I tried to use it last week on Etsy to buy some materials for my products. My card was declined. I got a hold of Square to see what the problem was, because I had plenty of funds on the card to make the purchase. They told me that my card had been shut down in June or July of this year. So I had to sign up for a new one. I went through the whole process of signing up for a new one, and add the checking account feature as well, and when I returned to my balance page, it read a $0 balance. Has anyone else come across the issue of the funds missing when they sign up for the checking account? I didn't transfer it out to my external account, and don't have a record of it in the transactions or reports. Any idea as to where my money has disappeared too? I just made some sales in the last several months. Help! That's not fun at all. <span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":disappointed_face:">😞</span></P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>I'm pretty sure FDIC regulations require "inactive" cards to be closed, which sounds like what happened to you. Your money however should not have disappeared.&nbsp; In a public forum we can't access a lot of the account specific information though.
