How to talk to loan department

The machine says push 1 to talk to loan dept i push 1 it says push 1 i do and eventually it hangs up. I got thru 1 time by way of a very nice person at a call center who went around the push 1 social experiment

I was told it is normal at 1st to make payments on a loan i have not received PLEASE HELP I want to cancel the loan i no longer need or at least get the payments suspended until they give me the loan money And if they dont i am going to call and push 1 a bunch more times and maybe get thru someday

i couldn't find how to mark your reply as "best answer"; but it was very helpful. thank you so very much for the phone number and miraculously when i pressed 1, it went directly to a human. again thank you for your help @MayaP
