So I’m not much of a cry and scream stress person, more like a let it fall and burn, I’ll laugh now and cry later. Lol Background - This is my 3-4th Loan with Square, I received my 2nd offer at 65% and my 3rd offer at 72%. I hit 81% today, got the loan in December… have paid back 81% 7mos. All of my projections, etc are green. Just in a complete wait!!!! Checking daily!!!! Anyone wanna be my wait buddy, at the end of the day we are all in this together and none of my friends understand the wait and anger that comes with this process. Haha

Since Last summer I have heard most offers do not come in till after the current Loan is paid off. Takes a week or 2 after the loan is paid off till a new offer comes in. So I will place a Bet on that.

Within the hour of posting this I received an offer from square!!!! Lol So if you are a gambling man, I’d say you better run cause you called it! 😂

I got my offer 2 hours after hitting 81% paid! It was the same amount as my last loan but lower interest! Best of luck!

Has anyone received a loan in the last month or 2? I’m sitting at 71%. The last 2 loans have been 70% and above but prior years have been 50-60. And the amounts have been lower. End of 2021, had an $8k loan. Next one in 2022 was below $4k. On my 9th loan with square. Always been ahead on my payments. Never had a charge back. And this years sales are about last years. I could really use it with adding on new work and the busy season coming. Hopefully it comes sooner than later.

Hi @Brittney325. Since this is your 9th loan, you are probably well aware that the process of “the next loan” is rather mysterious. Having said that, I can say that 71% is probably at or below the average for next loans in the past year or so. I’ve read numerous posts/replies of people waiting until the high 80s and even 90s, and have also seen a higher number than usual of sellers who don’t receive their next loan offer until they’ve paid off the current one. I won’t go into all the reasons why that might be happening, because I’m sure that you read the news. Oh, and yes, the amounts are trending lower unless your card sales are trending up significantly. That is mostly a function of persistent stubborn inflation, since flat sales with high inflation are the equivalent of lower sales with low inflation. Ugh.

If you need money for your holiday season, etc, I’m wouldn’t wait for it to happen from Square. I know that’s not what you want to hear, but as a fellow seller and someone who has watched things this year it is the way that it is. Of course, Square might surprise me and everyone else and suddenly start making offers like they used to, but I can’t recommend “betting the farm” on that possibility. Better to be prepared with a backup plan.

I am sitting at 88% all in green, and waiting daily for my next offer. This is my 4th loan with square and I have never had to wait this long. I have tried calling and speaking to someone and they give a very generic answer. It's frustrating with the holidays coming up, and especially when we rely on these offers each year (at least I do). I'm on my 9th loan with Square and at 82%. Has any of you gotten your loan offer yet? I'm in the green. I know that it can be random, I'm just hoping that one of you guys have gotten your loan offer by now, to give me hope lol.
