I have a square loan. I want to stop the 20% payback fee for one transaction. I have paid the required minimum payment with a substantial amoun of money paid above and beyond the 1/18th payment requirement obligated. Does anybody have any idea how I might be able to obtain this one time reprieve?

Hey there @Ameribest77. According to the Square Loan agreements, the payback fee applies to all transactions until the loan is fully paid. Therefore, there is no readily-available way for us to turn it off at any time for any reason. Also, the 1/18th minimum is just that — the minimum payment required every two months. It is irrelevant to this query. That being said, you can reach out to the Square Loan Support Team and ask them if this would be possible. Only they can answer this question, I’m afraid.
