Square Credit Card Waiting List

I got the credit card option on my Square Dashboard about a three weeks ago and I joined the waiting list. Anyone have any feedback on how long you will be on the waiting list? If the credit card option pops up does that mean we already qualify or is there another qualification after you are off the waiting list?

Im thinking that is just an advertisement for the most part, I'm sure someone else will know more who actually has that CC. Keep in mind, I think (last I knew) you can only have one or the other meaning either the Square credit card or the loan.

With that being said, there are probably some better business credit cards out on the market with better rewards . Just some food for thought.

Same i got the credit button on monday and joined the waitlist. Things have changed that i know of. It os invite only but since we got the invite to be on waiting liat obviously we were invited. Nothing to do but sit and wait.

Any update of CC waiting list? How long do you sit on waiting list?

@brown17 Just as with Square Loans, there are no updates or anything specific. Square is nothing if it is not consistent in this regard -- loan/card offers of any kind will be available when they are available and there is no way to anticipate that offer or to game the system. The only human quality that helps here is patience, it seems. I know of two sellers who recently (in the past month) received card offers. But both of them are what I would call high-volume sellers. That is probably just a coincidence, however.

Thank you!! I assumed that is how it was handled but wasn't sure. I have been with square for many years but this is first time the Credit button showed up. I appreciate your response 🙂
