Are consolidated statements available?

I've attempted to download 4 months of statements but the system times out, probably because we have thousands of transactions per month. Is it possible to get a CONSOLIDATED STATEMENT that simply shows the month's income?

Hey @GinaBeana. First, if you could, please clarify your question. You posted it in the Savings board, but you asked about “income,” which has nothing to do with savings, really.

As far as savings statements go, it is the way it is. I requested (over a year ago), that we get the option to either see detailed savings statements, or a summary of money saved (even it is just amount saved by day). So far, that has not been done and I haven’t seen an announcement about any pending beta tests.

If you did not mean to post this in the Savings board (for savings account questions) can you clarify what you mean by needing to see the month’s income? There are plenty of standard Square reports that show this number, without needing to resort to a bank account statement.

Hi! I categorized my question regarding SAVINGS since my POS sales apply directly to categorized savings. For example: % to profit, % occupancy, % payroll, % owner's comp, etc.. As mentioned, when I attempt to download a month's statement, it lists the thousands of transactions that we processed for that month. I am hoping to get the sales/income in one single number vs. every single transaction.

Makes sense. So, for now, to repeat…

It will be hard for me to find the request I made to have more consolidated statements. So I would suggest you go to the Ideate Board and submit your own to the Square Business Banking team. They’ll detect the duplicate and merge it with others like it. Maybe someone will indicate whether or not there are plans to put this feature on the product roadmap.

Also, as a stopgap/short term work-around. Each day I go to my Balances online. In the Balance Overview section for the previous day, I expand Payment Processing. There, you’ll find a line item for “Square Savings Transfer.” I add a few lines in my daily revenue accounting journal entry showing a transfer from “card sales” to “savings account.” For now, it works to give me visibility into savings deposits each day.
