Why Was I Declined a SQUARE Debit Card?

I am new to Square and I just incorporated my business. I am at the point where I need to open a business account but then I saw that Square offers a debit card. Is that the same thing as a business account? I tried to apply but was declined without any explanation.

Sorry to hear you weren't able to get a Square Card.

Eligibility for Square Card requires verification through our banking partner.

If your information is not able to be verified- you won’t be able to use Square Card, but you can still take advantage of Square’s other transfer options.

We can't see into what those reasons are but usually it's an incorrect piece of identity verifying information entered.

You can also contact our direct CS team by phone or email to see if they can assist with ordering one.

I have a square account and wanted to sign up for the card but it says it can't verify me. I am assuming it's because I have 2 first names "Mary Ann" and most systems don't like it. Is there something I can do to bypass it and get a card. Thanks

I receivedan emailed invitation for a Square Card. I filled out the online form and even though my information was correct (birthday, social, etc), square denied my debit card after a few failed attempts at me simply giving my name, address, social, dob. All the info was correct. There's no link or anything which gives me a chance to get help. Just stuck without the card because "our bank has declined because your information is incorrect." Please help

So i tried to get the square card and its says I'm not eligible cause my name and address couldnt be verified. It's been 3 or 4 days now.im waiting on them to transfer my money to cash app so I can have money to work with but I cant get my money and they wont send me there debit card like really I'm paying u to hold my money come on I need. This fixed asap any answers on how to fix

Sorry to hear you're unable to order a Square Card. While we can't offer any more tries to activate one, try out Square's other transfer options.
