A. Can we deposit checks into our checking account?

And

B. What about depositing cash via an ATM. Is this possible?

If you have a Square Checking account, you can make check deposits, and add money to your checking account right from your Point of Sale app.

Follow these steps:

Update to the latest version of the Point of Sale app > go to Balance.
Select Add Money.
Select Mobile Check Deposit.
Enter the amount of the check.
Endorse the back of your check, and write “For Square mobile deposit only” below your signature.
Take a picture of the front and back of the check using a dark background, and click Submit.
Keep your check in a safe place for two weeks before discarding it.

To answer your second question...

At this time, we don’t support the ability to deposit cash into your Square Checking account.

The Square Checking team is constantly improving the product based on customer feedback, so keep an eye out for any updates in our Seller Community.
