2 Hour Reminder Texts Not Sending

I changed this setting after upgrading to Square Plus earlier today. I have tried to set multiple test appointments, and I set them all 2+ hours in advance, one at least 2:20 in advance. I used myself as a test profile as well as my boyfriend. I've checked every setting the AI assistant suggested. Still no appointment reminders arrive.

Customization of reminders and communications is one of the reasons I upgraded. I need a day-of reminder text to go out to my clients so I can provide them with the code they need to access my building.

It says that these are transactional messages and therefore I do not need people to be opted in to Square Text Marketing. The last (silly) thing I can think of is that I am currently outside my business hours, but I sometimes work outside my business hours and Square has had no problem prior sending automations related to those appointments.

Update: two of the reminder texts for test appointments just arrived, but they do not have the customization text I put in, they just have the default, "Your appointment on 8/2 at 2:15 PM CDT is coming up." They showed up for the 2:00 and the 2:15 appointments at 1:21 PM.

As I said, I need the customization, so that clients can enter the building with the code I put in the reminder texts.
