thread Granting Scheduling access for personal devices WITHOUT checkout in Appointments & Bookings

I have been trying to set our team up to be able to see their individual appointments and details on their personal devices and I have checked the "View personal calendar" setting in the permission sets, but when I test it out, I can't see appointments in any of the apps unless it also includes checkout (Can't see in square dashboard app, can't see in teams app, appointments/retail apps both enable checkout). How can I allow my team to see their upcoming appointment calendar without them being able to process sales on their individual devices?

Hi Melody,

I just looked through the staff permissions settings to see how you might get around this. I guess my first question is why? My staff have access to their appointment calendar, and my lead has full access, but they don't use their personal devices for transactions. I have a tablet and Square reader for that purpose. It looks like in Team Permissions checkout cannot be toggled off. I guess that makes sense because a team's job is to check out customers. I think what you are asking for is a sort of read-only schedule.
