&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;At the moment, the&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;Payments &amp;amp; Cancellations&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;setting applied to all appointments. There isn't a way to make the pre-payment optional. I'll definitely share this with our Appointment team as a feature request!&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;If the customers would rather pay in-person rather than upfront online, a workaround would be for them to contact you directly. You can &lt;A href="https://squareup.com/help/us/en/article/5349-schedule-and-accept-appointments" target="_blank"&gt;manually create an appointment for them from your Square Appointments app or your Square Dashboard&lt;/A&gt;, and that'll skip the prepayment.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
