&lt;P data-start="108" data-end="531"&gt;The number Square uses to send text notifications for appointment requests is a shared system number.&amp;nbsp;It’s the same one used for all Square Appointments text alerts. Sometimes, depending on your carrier or phone settings, that number might show a business name if it’s been registered for message identification&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P data-start="108" data-end="531"&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P data-start="533" data-end="717"&gt;This won’t cause any issues with your future bookings or notifications. You’ll continue to receive texts and emails as usual when clients request, change, or cancel appointments.&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>Why's there a business name attached to square number?</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I don't always get a notification from the appointment app so I have text &amp;amp; email me when a client requests an appointment so I can approve/deny.&amp;nbsp; Today when someone scheduled the number now has a business attached to that default number square uses to send the notification, at least I thought it was a generic number all appointment users got a text notification from.
