Service checklists in square appointments

We are a small bicycle repair shop and I’m looking for a way to have service checklists be configurable by the service selected on a customer appointment, so that on the actual appointment, our mechanics can open the relevant checklist template for the service, and check everything off before completing the appointment. As it seems this is not currently a feature offered natively with square, I’d like to request this as a feature, and also inquire into what third party options or alternative workflows folks have discovered for similar use cases?

Hi @upshift, I see you are fairly new the Square Community. Welcome!

Unfortunately at this time this feature is not available. In the meantime, I would recommend posting this idea as a Feature Request on our Ideate platform, as it is a great place to post new ideas and improvements to Square's products and tools.

As for third-party project management or checklist applications, the ones I am aware of and would recommend are Trello, Asana, or Google Forms to create and manage service-specific checklists. If you have development resources, you may be able to build a custom integration using Square's API to fetch appointment details and link them to a checklist system.

Beyond this, I would be interested to see if any sellers have any suggestions!
