Embed code broken recently - Opens workflow in new tab after clicking a service

Hi there,

I use the embedded workflow on my website which up until recently worked fine.

Now, the embedded workflow still displays properly but as soon as you click a service it opens up a new tab and continues the booking workflow via the square website and is no longer embedded.

This has now made the embedded workflow redundant as it acts basically the same as the booking button, opening the appointment booking workflow externally.

Who beefed this up and is there a workaround?

Same issue here. It's a horrible user experience

Unfortunately this decision was intentional, Square engineers apparently confirmed after I contacted support. I will be switching appointment systems because of this change this month.
