Are coupon codes not applicable to the newly introduced appointment packages?

Also is there no way to create an invoice for appointment packages?

Hey there, @amyvoice! 😀

At the moment, coupon codes are not applicable to appointment packages. My suggestion would be to create an appointment package priced specifically for people who have a coupon code and then send them a payment link. I know that can be a bit more work in the backend, but I didn't want to leave you without any kind of suggestion!

You have four options for selling packages:

Sell a package from your Square Dashboard
- Customer directory
- Virtual Terminal
Sell a package from the Square Appointments POS app
Sell a package with Square Online
Sell a package with payment links

Right now, creating an invoice for appointment packages is not an option. But, I can definitely pass the suggestion along to our product team.

I have created packages for my specific classes in my appointments with the class price but then created a promo code for that exact price to purchase the class package. This was then being added to the clients new account they created and was working BUT now it is not!? They are able to purchase the package with the promo code but then they go to book a class under their account and the package is NOWHERE to be found!? This is driving me insane and dont understand why after two years of asking for promo codes to be applicable to classes this is still not a thing!!!?

@ranchsports I just scrolled through the Square Product Roadmap, and I don’t see that feature on it. So my assumption Is that it won’t happen for the next 3 quarters (until after 1st quarter 2026), at least. If that’s not true one of the Square moderators can correct me. That’s all the information we sellers have available to us.
