Update business hours on future date?

I am wanting to change my business hours starting on a future date in September of 2024, but until then I want to keep my hours I currently have. Is there a way to change my business hours for the future but keep them the same now until that future date?

EX- I am open Wednesday & Thursday until 7pm, but starting in September of 2024 I want to be open Tuesday & Wednesday until 7pm.

Interesting question - unfortunately I don't believe there's an option or feature that supports what you have in mind. I've looked some of the places we have our hours listed (Google Maps, Bing Maps, Yelp and few others) and have not seen a feature or option that would do what you have in mind. There is an option to submit a Square "Feature Request" for future consideration. If any of the Community Members have a work around, I'm sure they will speak up.

Hi there, @Jamie_MMS!

My friend @JK_Fiber_Art is correct. Right now, there is not a way to update your hours for your business in the future.

The best route would be to put an announcement out there that your hours will be changing once you get closer to the date, but you will have to manually change the hours in your Square Dashboard once the date comes.

@JK_Fiber_Art also mentioned the Feature Request board where you can submit any feature requests or ideas you may have to improve Square for businesses 😊
