How can you set up square appointments so that customer can confirm

I am trying to set up square appointments but not having any luck. I need to be able to have the customer confirm or cancel and it is not allowing that. Does anyone have any help for me to try? Thank you

With Square Appointments Plus, you can choose when and how your customers receive confirmations regarding their appointments.

To set up confirmations, log in to your Square account and follow this link.
