Setting up follow up text messages

Hello, we are a rust proofing shop, and our product is good for 18 months. How can i set up a automated reminder text for people that have had our product applied? We would like to have them come back for a re coating. We have used the reoccurring appointment feature, but all this does is set up a future appointment for people which is a surprise to them.

Just to confirm, when are you wanting to have the reminder sent out? After 18 months, or would it be before this timeframe? Square Marketing may work out for you!
