How can I look up a patient to show past appointments?

The square appointment app is different from the square appointment online. It's so confusing. I can look up a customer on my phone app under customer and see past appointments, but the online dashboard has no option.

If someone schedules an appointment, I can click on that and see their appointment history, but I can't just search for a patient's previous appointments.

I really don't understand why there are so many different interfaces, from the square appointments online, square appointment app, square CC processing, square team and square Go. Too much extra info. I should be able to do everything from one app.

Thanks for any help. I really just need to find a past patient who needs receipts.

HI @Rebalance

So once you are logged into your Square Dashboard. On the left hand Side you will click on Customers > Customers again. A new screen will load , where there will be small search bar (most likely right below a marketing campaign ad). Search for the customer there.

You can then click on the desired customers name, and along the right hand side their information will show up, you can then scroll down to see past appointments, invoices etc. Hope this information helps.

Post script. I do agree with you there with the different interfaces of all things Square can make things pretty tricky. I rarely use the Apps, so when I do log in to the apps it takes me a hot minute to figure out where things are.

THanks Dan! That worked. It was the marketing ad that was hiding the search box. Still a roundabout way to check though. There should be a way to follow a customer from the appointment page and not have to go back to "regular" square.

You're welcome, and I agree. I know if your on the apportionment page and you can hit " ALT K" it will bring up a quick find option that will allow you to search for the customers right there. So this may work better if you since you are already on the appointments overview page.

Yes!!!! I was using that, but just noticed I was in "navigation" and not "customers"!!!! Works great now! Thank you again for your patience with me 🙂
