Adding surcharge when checking out on Square Appointment App

So I've added a "surcharge fee" to charge customers when using a CC. When I go to check out on the square appointments app, I do not see it in the checkout area. Is there a setting I need to change or it is not possible to add the surcharge on appointments app?

Could you give me some more insight on how you have that surcharge set up? And do you manually add it to your transactions?

I want to make sure we are on the same page with this and are headed into the right direction.
