Struggling with Modifier Sort order on Square Register POS.

Team,

I'm asking the community to see if anyone has a fix. I’ve included a video of the problem. We’ve struggled this past year to get the modifier sort orders to work correctly across Square platforms, including (Website, App, Register, Kiosk). Unfortunately, after hours on the phone, we cannot get the workflow correct on the Square Register POS. We’ve tried everything; however, the workflow will not sort according to our ordering workflow.

Hi there @indianathomas.. There is a beta going right to allow more customization of modifier sort order on our POS, etc. I've been in the beta for a month or so and it seems to be working well. The beta is not an open beta, I don't think. But I'll PM you with a contact to see if they might still have room.

@indianathomas You can opt into that beta in Dashboard Release Manager: https://app.squareup.com/dashboard/release-manager and enable Modifier set sorting.

Enabling this will make it so your POS respects the order of Modifiers as it is set on your Items
