      <description>&lt;P&gt;I am so frustrated.&amp;nbsp; I was sick of paying other sites crazy high selling fees so I decided to start my own website.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It has been three weeks and no sales.&amp;nbsp; I just feel like I'm spinning my wheels.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;How do I get sales?&amp;nbsp; Does any one pay to advertise?&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

But do not get discouraged as it's doable.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Before jumping to buying ads I would take a few steps to improve my organic traffic.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1- Improve your site&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;- Signup with search.google.com and see the status of your site.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://squareup.com/help/us/en/article/6992-verify-your-site-with-search-engines" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;Here is an article at Square&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;- Fill your website SEO fields with relative information&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2- Signup with Google Merchant Center.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;- Since your products are not new, you need to tweak some settings&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://squareup.com/help/us/en/article/7386-set-up-google-product-listings-on-square" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;Square article&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://smarter-ecommerce.com/blog/en/google-shopping/how-to-sell-custom-goods-and-used-products-on-google-shopping/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;read this old but good article&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://www.ilanadavis.com/blogs/articles/telling-google-shopify-store-sells-used-products" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;another article (Shopify specific but somewhat applicable)&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;search and educate yourself (used, no GTIN products in Merchant Center)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3- Connect your website with your Instagram / Facebook account&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;(I'm not a fan of neither sites, but they sure drive traffic)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The list keeps going but this should give you a head start.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Advertise after start getting some organic traffic, otherwise, your ad dollars will mostly be wasted.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Cheers&lt;/P&gt;</description>
