    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi everyone,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I’ve been stuck on a Square Mobile Payments SDK issue and I’m hoping someone here has run into this before.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Setup:&lt;BR /&gt;- iPad&lt;BR /&gt;- Square Stand 2nd gen&lt;BR /&gt;- custom iOS app using Square Mobile Payments SDK&lt;BR /&gt;- Production environment&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What’s happening:&lt;BR /&gt;- The official Square POS app works fine on the same iPad and same Square Stand&lt;BR /&gt;- My custom app initializes Square, authorizes, and opens the payment sheet&lt;BR /&gt;- But when I try to take a payment, it says:&lt;BR /&gt;"Connect hardware to take card payments"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Earlier in my diagnostics I also saw:&lt;BR /&gt;- "Secure Connection To Square Failure"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What I already checked:&lt;BR /&gt;- App signature is added in Square Developer Console&lt;BR /&gt;- Bundle ID matches everywhere&lt;BR /&gt;- Team ID matches everywhere&lt;BR /&gt;- App Store Connect bundle ID matches&lt;BR /&gt;- Bluetooth and Location permissions are allowed&lt;BR /&gt;- Tested Debug and Release&lt;BR /&gt;- Reset Square authorization&lt;BR /&gt;- Added a backend auth function and tested again&lt;BR /&gt;- Square POS still works on the same hardware, but my custom app still won’t activate the Stand&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;At this point I’m trying to figure out whether:&lt;BR /&gt;- there’s something specific about Square Stand + custom iOS apps that I’m missing&lt;BR /&gt;- this is an authorization/token issue&lt;BR /&gt;- or Square needs to inspect something on their side&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Has anyone run into this exact issue where Square POS works, but the custom Mobile Payments SDK app still can’t use the Stand?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any advice would really help.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
