Hi! Starting to question both my sanity and intelligence.

We have a Square Terminal (1st Gen, V2) that we have used for a couple of years with little issue. Software is up to date.

We recently acquired a Square Hub and a Brecknell scale (both purchased through the Square website via their compatibility checker).

The scale is on and I *think* I have successfully changed the modes to those recommended in other posts to allow it to talk to another device.

I cannot get the scale to show up on my Terminal.

I *think* the cord permanently attached to the hub is supposed to go into the Terminal.

I *think* the hub needs to be plugged in (no adapter or anything is included so I am using the USB-C port on the back).

The scale is on and it is connected to the hub via the 9 pin/USB-A cord

I feel like I have covered all of my bases but am not having luck and have not found anything in the community or support materials that has helped.

Thank you in advance for any advice/pictures/etc you can provide.
