The reader is several years old, it worked on an iPhone, Pixel 4XL, and now my Pixel 9 Pro for over a year and recently stopped booting (flashes green → orange/red → off). Frontline support has refused to escalate. This looks like a data/classification error + firmware failure that needs Hardware/Engineering review.
