@dmcb If you. Have a printer that is connected to your router, by either WiFi or Ethernet you can connect both. I know Star Micronics has one that will work with Square. The link is below.

https://squareup.com/shop/hardware/us/en/products/receipt-printer-usb-ethernet

This is how you will connect it.

Plug your printer into your router using an Ethernet cable.

On both your Square Stand and your Drive-Thru iPad, connect to the same Wi-Fi network that your printer is plugged into.

In the Square POS app:

Go to More → Settings → Hardware → Printers.

Tap “Add Printer” → Select your LAN printer from the list.

Name it (e.g., “Kitchen Printer” or “Receipt Printer”).

Set up what it should print (receipts, order tickets, etc.).

Repeat on the second device — the same printer should appear under “Available Printers.”

Both devices can print receipts or tickets to the same printer simultaneously.

IF your printer is connected to your stand / register via USB, then connecting a 2nd device will be the issue, as RT said, a network version of the printer solves all your problems. Sometimes with the printers, you can get little add in cards to connect them to the network via a plug in, or even a dongle. They have little usb to network adapters for things like this.
