Recommendations for compatible printers to use with square stand?

I know there are compatible printers listed at https://squareup.com/ca/en/compatibility/accessories/printers?
but surely there must be others? We were hoping to not have to spend as much (light usage) - the recommended ones all start at around $400 CDN.
Any recommendations?

On the Square side, I am only aware of the list of compatible printers that you provided above. There may be other printers out there that may work, but we cannot guarantee that.

I'm sorry I couldn't provide too much help with this. If you don't hear anything back on this thread from other Sellers, I might recommend making a post on Reddit or another platform that has a wider scope of audience.

@AnnieZC I would check Amazon, eBay or OfferUp for used/renewed printers. The Star receipt printers are extremely reliable (ours have lasted over 10 years). Given that businesses come and go, you should find one relatively cheap.
