My generation card reader quit working. I cannot pair it to my iphone. I have done all the things it says to do, restart both phone and reader, clicked forget reader, tried to re-pair and it won't re-pair

Welcome to the Square Community! First off to help what version Iphone are your currently using, and what version card reader do you have? (model number)

Ensure you have removed any current pair connections from your phone, and the square app, hold down the reset button, it will eventually flash at you, hold it longer, closer to like 1min maybe 2 - there is a second reset inside the classic square shaped tap reader
