Print specific modifiers in red on Kitchen printer?

Hi there,

does anyone know if there is a way to customise the kitchen printer - or print a specific modifier in red?

This would be incredibly useful as we have a modifier set for allergens. If this printed in red on the Star 700 impact printer that would make life much easier in the kitchen.

I have spoken to Star and they suggest it is a question for Square.

The up question is from three years thread, any update from square pos?

it is common function on all pos systems.

Hello @SONNYS ! Welcome to the Seller Community!

As far as I recall, every modifier will print in red on the kitchen tickets. They will also be indented a bit from the item ordered. There isn't a way to have certain modifiers print in certain colors currently. I can see how this would be really helpful, so I recommend posting this idea over in the Feature Request board here on this forum.

I ordered epson tm220 and Star sp742 me. The star was not printing red on the kitchen tickets. Epson is good so far.
