Hello,

I would like to disable tap payments, or set up a limit for all cards. is there an option that I can stop tap payment. only insert your cards or have a limit of tap to 50$ ??

is there a way??

Hello @ME2020 and thanks for your question. I'm not certain if you can turn off contactless payments; how are accepting payments, on a POS, app, Register, etc.? Here's a help article that may answer some questions about payments.

Are you using a Square Reader to accept tap payments?

Or Tap to Pay on your mobile device?

All Square merchants have a per-transaction limit of $50,000, and card issuers establish limits as well, but your customers should be aware of any limits set by their card issuer.

Do you want to limit tap payments further? Is there a particular business need for this limit?
