&lt;P dir="auto" style="margin: 0;"&gt;&lt;SPAN style="color: #2d3338;"&gt;I want to make sure your Terminal is working! &lt;STRONG&gt;When you held down the power button did the device go through an actual countdown? How many times did you do that? &lt;/STRONG&gt;If &lt;A href="https://squareup.com/help/us/en/article/6537-square-terminal-troubleshooting" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;hard resetting&lt;/A&gt; the reader does not resolve this and your device is within &lt;A href="https://squareup.com/help/us/en/article/5148-square-hardware-limited-warranty-and-returns" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;warranty&lt;/A&gt; you can replace it.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;square terminal is stuck in "setting up square terminal" i've tried resetting by holding button down and such. but it just resets and goes right back to the same screen and gets stuck .&lt;/P&gt;</description>
