Square MagStripe reader disables Do Not Disturb, at least on Google Pixel. I believe it gets confused for an audio device. Does anyone know of an android setting to fix this? Perhaps a bluetooth magstripe reader? What do iPhone7 users for magstripes without a headphone jack?

Hi @joellyn

The Square magstripe reader plugs in to your devices headphone jack and translates card information to an audio signal, which is how it is communicated to the Point of Sale app.

This might be why certain devices mistake it for an audio device.

iPhone 7 users currently have an adapter for the headphone jack that comes with their phone, or they can use the Square Contactless and Chip Card Reader which connects via bluetooth LE.
