My tech guy says this tablet is on your list of supported devices. And yet it will not download the POS, saying it is incompatible. I only bought this to run this platform. Is is supported or not?

While I see the LG G Pad listed this version may not work. First thing to do is make sure the unit has the latest version of the android operation system. You need 5.0 or higher for Square to work.

Update Software on an Android Device

Open your device’s Settings.
Tap About > System Updates or Software Updates and choose to update to the latest software version.

I did do this and it says it is up to date. It is running Android 5.0.2

That's good, but that means that there is something else wrong. Are you downloading the app from the Google Play Store? If you are then the device must not be compatible. You can try to contact support for more help.
