&lt;P&gt;We are working to expand our debit card processing options in Canada. I know the $100 dollar tap limit can be a pain for debit transactions.       <description>&lt;P&gt;So your debit doesn't take chip AT ALL!!!! something you should tell the customers before they pay for the reader. I live in a community where the tap feature is not on the card so they MUST put the chip in to pay debit!! So I will lose sales?? not sure why you made it that way.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;ah, you're in Canada, that makes sense now why you were having errors.&amp;nbsp; it was a non-Interac debit card.&amp;nbsp; yes, interac&amp;nbsp;debit cards are accepted via tap not chip.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;the reader page does say that it has to be interac&amp;nbsp;tap&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Will this reader eventually come out with an update in order to take chip interac payments? I find a ton of people disable their tap to avoid theft and I prefer not to take credit cards to avoid the extra fees.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
