My Contactless Chip Reader won't show led lights when plugged into power source

I just recieved my Conactless chip reader today and proceeded to plug it into a power source. The led lights flashed and then it went blank. I pressed the power button to see if the led lights would show how much it would was charging and nothing happens.

Everytime I press the power button, it's just blank.

Is this because I just got it in the mail so it's not charged at all and I have to wait until it is fully charged for the led lights to show up. Or were there supposed to be led lights showing everytime I press the power button while it's plugged into a power source?

I hope this question isn't confusing.

Hey @chuapowa, welcome to the Seller Community!

Have you tried holding down the power button with a pen cap or the nail of your finger for 5 seconds than releasing? This will put the reader into pairing mode and the lights will blink orange. You can do this while the reader is plugged in and charging.
