Epson Thermal Printers (TM-T88V)

I am trying to connect an Epson TM-T88V USB thermal printer model M244A. I am using the square stand and an iPad. Both the Square app and iOS are up to date. When I connect the printer I get a message on the screen that "USB Device Not Supported". I have been in touch with Square support and they told me that the printer was supported.

Has anyone successfully connected one of these printers?

The TM-88V should be compatible, as it's listed on our Compatibility By Device page in our Support Center.

We might need to walk through some things with you to figure out what exactly might be happening. Give our CS Team a call and they'll troubleshoot with you a bit further.
