Hey there @laurmargg!

If you have connected your domain it now points to Square meaning the site that will show up at that domain will be your Square Online Site - you don't need to transfer the domain, transfers are just so that Square can handle the renewal costs and the domain is registered under Square/Register.com - having it connected keeps all payments managed by the original register and you'll do all your DNS from them - or a selected DNS provider such as cloudflare - at the end of the day so long as the domain is connected you're all set to start building your website with Square!

Hope this could help, if it did, please mark it as best answer to help others with similar questions in the future!

I connected my domain to square before finding out because it is a .ca that I cannot transfer it to square.

What are the benefits of just having the domain connected?

Do I now build my website through square instead of my old host?
