Wierd issue with our SP742 Kitchen Printer. It won't print all or the characters on a ticket. I thought at first it was a character limit issue but this is not the case.

It should print our "Regular" but consistently only prints out "Regula" the "r" is missing. On the next line, we are shortening Allergy to just "A." and then the item that the person is allergic to. In this example, we want it to print "A.Egg" but it will only print "A." However, when we enter the same info as a note on a different item it prints out exactly what we want.

It seems to be that when ever there is any red text, the next few lines are messed up. If all the lines are black, it prints out correctly. Again, the missing letters are consistent. Has anyone had a similar issue?

Hi @ramenarashivic - Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Square Seller Community👋

Sorry to hear you're having some trouble with your Kitchen Printer. You could try running through these troubleshooting steps, but it sounds like this is more of an issue with the printer itself. The Square app doesn't have any settings to help address this specifically.

I would suggest reaching out to the printer's manufacturer, Star Micronics, for additional troubleshooting. You can contact the Star Micronics Support Team directly at: 1-800-782-7636, enter 995 if asked for an extension.

I hope this information is helpful and is able to resolve this issue but please do let us know if you have any additional questions. Always happy to help! 😊
