Can I use a barcode scanner if I don't have Square for Retail?

Hi,

I've been using Square with the stand and chip/contact reader for debit and credit cards.

I want to switch to a barcode from SKU numbers. I have the regular Square account and NOT the Square for Retail - can I still connect a scanner and how/where do I go to switch the SKU # to a barcode. Thanks

Yes, you can use a barcode scanner with the Square POS app. Check out this article for more details. 😊
