Heya @TenpinBowling,

Welcome to the Seller Community 👋 we love seeing new faces but are sorry to hear trouble has lead you here!

You should be able to see a small battery indicating the charge on your Square Terminal in the bar on top of your screen. It definitely sounds odd that you can't see this from your end. If you haven't already, please give these troubleshooting steps a try:

Check if there is an outstanding software update. To update your Square Terminal software, tap ≡ More > Settings > Hardware. Tap General > About Terminal > Software Update.

Are the date and time settings on your Terminal accurate? Select ≡ More > Hardware > General > Date and Time and adjust accordingly.

Reset your Terminal: Tap ≡ More > select Settings > Hardware >tap General > About Terminal. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and tap Factory Reset > Confirm Factory Reset > tap Reset one last time. From here the countdown will begin and your terminal will reset.

Please let us know how you go!
