Kitchen Printer not printing Chinese / Japanese characters

All the Chinese / Japanese characters characters are printed as "??????" (Question marks) at the Kitchen printer.

Using Epson TM-U220B impact kitchen printers. Epson specifications included Traditional /Simplified Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Korean Character.

The printer can print Chinese / Japanese in our old POS application on a Window PC by other provider.

I'd be happy to take a closer look for you and reach out to the relevant team to confirm whether this is expected behaviour or not. Can you first provide the following information:

Square hardware used.
Device used (phone or tablet) if applicable.
Are you using Square for Restaurants or Point of Sale ? If so what is the version.

Application: Square for Restaurants 6.56sw

Hardware used: Square Register

OS version: 5.51.0076

Kitchen printer: Epson TM-U220B

Addition question: How can I make the wording "Take out" for take-out order to be printed in RED color at Kitchen printer? How to make the "Take out" font size larger? The "VOID" on void ordre is printed in RED color by default. I would like to do the same for "Take out" order.
