Square Terminal reboots and says Something went wrong can't fetch modes

Recently Square introduced Square Modes and one of the terminal I use reboots and redirects me to Can't Fetch Modes page with a retry button. When I click retry it doesn't do anything. I can restart the device and run the square animation then takes me to the Error page of saying Can't Fetch Modes.

The Square Terminal is (1st Gen, v1). I can still see it in my Hardware Device list but it hasn't been updated since it got stuck.

Something went wrong can't fetch modes

Please advice, is it possible to get a return this device and get a new one.

Issue resolved with a Factory reset.
