Modifiers? Are they only for Restaurant POS ?

Are modifiers only available is subscribing to the Restaurant POS ?

I want to have an option available for POS and self serve where the customer can choose things like

Ice/No ice

Number of glasses?

Spicy/Mild ?

We are not really using the restaurant POS and my trial is about to lapse, so will I loose the ability to use modifiers?

Hey @Dirky, I can definitely give a hand here!

Modifiers are a free feature actually and are available on the standard Point of Sale app. When you create modifiers from Square, it'll also be sync over to your Square Online site and can be used for self-served order.

This article goes into detailed about creating and managing your item modifiers which may come in handy!

The only thing available with Square for Restaurants that isn't available with Square Point of Sale or Square Online site is conversational modifiers, which include options like 'add', 'extra', 'side', etc. You can read more about this feature here.
