Connecting Square Reader to iPhone 14 bluetooth

I'm unable to find help anywhere, do figured I'd try here. For some reason my little square isn't being discovered by my iPhone 14 Pro max Bluetooth. Is there a known issue for this? Or any advice? I only have the little square POS.

Hey @GregAndrew, welcome to the Seller Community 🙂

I'd be happy to help, the Reader wouldn't appear in your Bluetooth settings until you've connected the it to your phone via the Point of Sale app.

To do so:

Open the Square app and tap More from the navigation bar at the bottom of your screen.
Tap Settings > Hardware > Card Readers > Connect a Reader.
Put your reader into pairing mode by pressing the reader’s button for three to five seconds. Remove your finger as soon as you see orange flashing lights. If you see red flashing lights, you’ve held the button too long and you’ll need to try again.
When connected, the reader will be listed as Reader Ready in-app.

It's connected and you don't need to go to your Bluetooth settings, it will be automatically connected to your app!
