Do webp images sync between WooCommerce and Square?

I'm not seeing my product images in Square, I don't think they are being synced between Square and WooCommerce. It has worked in the past but we have since started using .webp format. Is .webp supported in Square?

Can you confirm if webp images can be saved directly into Square? Not via WooCommerce?

I've just reached out to our Ecom team, and .webp files are not currently supported for items on Square Online, @BCS.
