Using Square's API to send payment to Square POS devices.

Is it possible to use Square's API to send a payment from a 3rd party booking platform to a Square POS Device, for us specifically it would be the Square Register but different businesses use other devices. The current API documentation for integrations is not very helpful on this.

Yes this is possible but I am not sure how. I have been switching Software for my accounting system, and this software has a POS button and when I go to add it, I can add Square as a Payment processor through their documentation and then use my current Square reader to accept Payments. I have not tried doing this yet, because right now with changing Accounting and getting these books organized this would be an added headache connecting to Square Card readers when I can just import my transactions.
