While we aim to support as many Android devices as possible for Tap to Pay, there may be some models—like the Samsung Galaxy XCover7—that we’re currently unable to support. That said, our list of compatible devices is always evolving, so it’s definitely worth checking our compatibility page from time to time. 🙂

Hi @Laurie_ ,

If the Samsung Galaxy xCover5 and xCover6 are compatible, wouldn't it be reasonable to expect that the newer version xCover7 would also be supported?

Our company recently invested in a large number of Samsung Galaxy xCover7 devices with the intention of using Square Tap to Pay, only to discover that the newer model is not currently supported.

Given the nature of this rollout and investment involved, would it be possible to escalate this request internally or raise it with the appropriate product or development team for consideration?

We would greatly appreciate any guidance or updates you can provide on this.
