      <title>How do I enter a device code on Square Terminal to pair it with POS software</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I received a device code (of type TERMINAL_API) in order to pair my Square Terminal with the POS software. The instructions seems to indicate that I enter the device code (which consists of six letters) on the Square Terminal on the login screen, perhaps using some option to choose to enter a device code.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The login screen I see does not appear to have a "device code" option and only has a numeric keypad (so I cannot enter the six letters). When I enter my PIN on this screen, it logs me into the Terminal. I cannot find anyplace in the Terminal UI to enter a device code.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So, how/where do I enter the device code to pair my Square Terminal with the (custom) POS software.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
