    <description>&lt;P&gt;Out of nowhere today on our terminal we had this message "Encryption unsuccessful"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;only option was "ERASE ALL DATA" which didn't work either. After many attempts to do a factory reset that didn't work I called support.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My understanding is if you see this problem, you will have to replace your terminal.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Big Shout Out to Square Support....new terminal on the way.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We have a Contactless card reader as a back up, and a Square stand.
